The Ten Percent Book of the Month - The Tipping Point [August]

First let me start off by saying, to all my Weekly Tippers, this has nothing to do with DJ RQaway's weekly event, The Tipping Point. As awesome as that event is in it's own right this book is not related, but it is AWESOME as well!

Here is a decent and detailed summary of the book, by Malcolm Gladwell.

This book will probably interest anyone. Most of it just helps us make sense of and defines what we already know, a good amount of it re-introduces and redefines ideas and concepts that we have been taught and gives us an additional point of view to consider.

In my opinion the book is simply amazing. It's not too formal, doesn't overspeak, it's pretty much just straightforward and to the point with a plethora of examples along the way to build the foundation for each concept being introduced or re-introduced.

The Tipping Point is about trends, social epidemics, and in general human nature. There's no way you could read this book and not learn more about yourself as a human being. I've no doubt that after this book something in your life will improve, even if it's just the way you watch Sesame Street or Blues Clues. ;-) And it's not even a self-help/self-improvement book.

The Ten Percent Book Club
We meet one Tuesday a month to discuss the book chosen for that month. Last month was Demetria Lucas' A Belle in Brooklyn. Definitely a great read & I recommend picking up a copy for yourself, male or female.

If you'd like more info on the book club or would like to join us this month, hit us up! TheTenPercent@TeamT2E.com :O)
